The campaign season is soon upon us. If you are considering a run for public office, the LP is here to help.

The LPNC (our state affiliate) is offering a candidate training program focused on giving participants the knowledge and practical skills needed to build a political campaign from the ground up.

The first of four events will be on Sunday June 12th in Raleigh. The same content will be delivered at each event. Other planned locations are Charlotte, Asheville and Wilmington.

This year’s candidate filing starts soon.

Apex, Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wendell, and Zebulon, candidate file starts at noon July 1 and ends at noon July 15.

Angier, Cary, Morrisville, Raleigh, and Wake County Board of Education, candidate filing begins at noon July 25 and ends at noon on August 12.
